Photography Crush: Nicole Cassano Photography

Thank you Nicole!

We had such an amazing and creative day working with Nicole Cassano Photography to create the beautiful images throughout our website and we are SO grateful for her talents and artistic eye.   We’d love to introduce you to Nicole…

What inspired you to get into photography?
Life:  one day I picked up a camera and took a picture.  It felt empowering to be able to capture life in a way that I see it and then hold that print in my hand.  I became obsessed with collecting moments, capturing beauty and creating art.  From that day on, I made it my passion.

What is your favorite part of what you do?
It all started with the love of two people, but the collaborated efforts that turned your celebration into the wedding day that it is, was not by chance.  Everyone from your friends and family to the artistic vendors you have hired onto your team, have poured themselves into this day.  I’m there to capture it in the most beautiful way possible.  My favorite part is presenting the images to the client.  I get to turn that labor of love into tangible proof that your day was amazing!

Describe your photography to someone who has never seen it.  Describe the couple who will love your style.
There is a romantic and voyeuristic vibe to my creative work.  I love to express a moment using light and emotion.  My clients appreciate relationships and craftsmanship.  They are confidently in-love and they aren’t afraid to be who they are.

What is the best tip you can give to your couples?
HIre professionals that click with you, put your trust in them and sit back and enjoy your day.  There’s nothing I love more than a well-celebrated, well-planned wedding day.  Invite the right people on your team to make your wedding dreams come true and then enjoy the day as it unfolds.  Don’t try to micro-manage the day.  Just be in love and enjoy it.

What is your most important lesson learned from your own wedding?
Don’t leave your spouse’s side the entire night.  It’s so easy to get caught up in talking with your guests. Hold hands and create your wedding memories together.  My favorite weddings have been of the happiest couples.
