Glitter & Grit is the place for Pittsburgh’s “boldly engaged” brides. This warm and friendly bridal boutique is uniquely it’s own offering a selection of lavish homemade and independently designed wedding dresses and accessories. Glitter & Grit provides a stunning selection of earth-friendly wedding dresses, made from ethically-sourced, sustainable, and natural materials, created with the eco-chic bride in mind.

On May 3rd at The Rustic Acres Open House, Glitter and Grit will be showcasing “Siren” by Elizabeth Dye.

“It’s a fit + flare silhouette, made from embroidered tulle. This particular “lace” has an Art Deco motif to it, and is milled by an American, fifth-generation family-owned company. It has an illusion neckline and a low, scooped back.”-Erin Szymanski, Glitter & Grit

Wedding tips and advice are always helpful and who other to get them from than the pros themselves.

Erin Szymanski from Glitter & Grit gives advice on bridal style trends and picks for rustic luxe/ethereal weddings and brides:

“There are many options these days for brides seeking a rustic luxe feel for their wedding. Both dresses made fully of lace, and those with lace accents, fit very nicely into the theme, as long as there is not much structure to the dress. Think dreamy silk chiffon, soft vintage or vintage-inspired lace, or a cloud of tulle. You can take a very simple dress and compliment it with more glamorous accessories to create just the right balance to fit your personal style.”
